Nooruz celebrated in Bishkek – photo report

Bishkek, Mar. 21, 2019. /Kabar/. The celebration of the national spring holiday Nooruz took place at central Ala-Too square.

Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Altynay Omurbekova, Mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov, head of the President’s Office of Kyrgyzhstan Dosaly Esenaliev, First Deputy Head of the Kyrgyz President’s Office Almaz Kenenbayev, Chairman of Bishkek City Kenesh (Council) Janybek Abirov and deputies of the kenesh came to congratulate residents and guests of the capital, the press service of the Mayor’s Office reported.

Congratulating the citizens on the holiday, Mayor of the capital Aziz Surakmatov wished everyone peace, prosperity and unity.

“Dear citizens! On behalf of Bishkek City Hall and on my own behalf, I sincerely congratulate you on Nooruz holiday! Dear citizens! Let us make our Bishkek even better and more beautiful, more comfortable and safer. Let us return the former glory of the greenest city! May this holiday bring peace, well-being and unity to all of us,” the Mayor said.

The Department of Culture of the Mayor’s Office had prepared a theatrical performance and an exciting concert program with the participation of well-known singers and 1 thousand people.
