Number of agreements planned to be signed between Kyrgyzstan, EBRD at EU-CA Forum

Bishkek, Nov. 3, 2021 . / Kabar / . Visit of President of the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction (EBRD) Odile Renault-Basso is planned within the framework of the First European Union-Central Asia Economic Forum to be held in Bishkek, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Aziz Aaliev said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

He added that a bilateral meeting of the EBRD president with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, as well as with Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Kyrgyz President’s Administration Akylbek Zhaparov is planned on the margins of the Forum.

"The program of the meeting includes signing of the Memorandum on attracting EBRD funds for irrigation development in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as consideration of the issue of EBRD loan to Kyrgyz Railways State Enterprise and granting soft loans to the business community,” Aaliev noted.

The First European Union-Central Asia Economic Forum will be held on Nov.5 in the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek at the level of prime ministers.
