Number of business entities' inspections in Kyrgyzstan reduced by 8 times

Bishkek, Feb.27, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, under the declared moratorium on inspections of business entities, the number of inspections was reduced by 8 times, Minister of Economy Sanjar Mukanbetov told reporters.

He said a total of 3,435 inspections were conducted in 2019 and 28,209 in 2018.

"The Institute of Business Ombudsman has been established in the country early in the year. It will promote transparency in the activities of state bodies and local governments to prevent corruption or other violations of the rights of legitimate interests of business entities," the minister said.

Mukanbetov also noted a Unified Window principle has been launched in the country in a new format, the time for receiving all the examinations and documents has been reduced from 170 to 30 working days.

"In addition, business service centers are being created to support entrepreneurs. The first centers have appeared in the cities of Osh, Dzhalal-Abad and Batken," the minister said.
