Bishkek, May 13, 2024. /Kabar/. Currently, 250 children with leukemia are being prepared for surgery, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told today at a meeting of the Social Policy Committee of the Kyrgyz Parliament.
According to him, the number of cancer patients is growing from year to year. Every year, from 3 thousand to 5 thousand citizens are diagnosed with oncology, among them 30% are children.
“At the moment, 250 children with leukemia are waiting for surgery,” he said, answering questions from parliamentarians.
