Number of contact people with COVID-19 infected exceeds 6 thsd

Bishkek, Apr. 10, 2020 / Kabar /. The number of people, who had contacts with COVID-19 coronavirus infected people exceeded in Kyrgyzstan 6 thousand, Deputy Minister of Health Mademin Karataev told a news briefing on Friday.

He said that the number of contacts with infected people amounted to 6 thousand 47 people. 1 thousand 58 people - in the first category (a family and close people), in the second category 4 thousand 989 people.

Today, on April 10, another 18 new COVID-19 cases have been detected in Kyrgyzstan, 298 in total. The number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 at the moment is 39.

39 citizens were cured and discharged from hospitals. Five have passed away.
