Tashkent, July 27, 2020. /Kabar/. As of July 26, the total number of coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan has reached 20,531.
According to the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry, 579 new COVID-19 cases were registered in the republic over the past 24 hours, as well as 633 people have recovered.
Quarantine restrictions in the country have been extended until Aug. 15. There are 67,729 people under quarantine at home and 26,317 at hospitals.
In Uzbekistan, 11,105 (54%) people have cured of coronavirus and 116 patients have passed away.
A total of 9,310 patients are undergoing treatment. Of these, 152 are in serious state, 66 patients' condition assessed as extremely serious.
