Number of COVID-19 cases decreases in Kyrgyzstan by 4.6 times - statistics

Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2021 / Kabar /. The number of cases of coronavirus infection has decreased in Kyrgyzstan by 4.6 times, the National Statistical Committee reported.

According to data of the Ministry of Health, in October this year, the number of laboratory confirmed and clinical and epidemiologically confirmed cases of coronavirus infection decreased from 13 thousand cases in October 2020 to 2.9 thousand cases in October 2021.

In October, the largest share of registered cases of coronavirus infection fell on the capital city Bishkek (more than 51%), Chui (26%) and Issyk-Kul (about 12%) regions.

The number of cases per 100 thousand of the population in October of this year compared with October last year, decreased by 4.6 times.
