Number of COVID-19 cases in Uzbekistan reaches 11

Tashkent, Mar.17, 2020. /Kabar/. The number of detected cases of COVID-19 in Uzbekistan has reached 11, Chief Sanitary Doctor of Uzbekistan, Director of the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Bahrom Almatov said during the press conference.

He said last patient has arrived from Dubai.

"An infected citizen was identified directly upon arrival at the airport using a thermal imaging camera," Almatyov said.

In Uzbekistan, the first coronovirus case was detected Mar. 15 this year.
