Number of crimes in public places down by 16% in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 18, 2022 . /Kabar/. 3,500 police officers in Kyrgyzstan patrol public places every day, Interior Minister of the republic Ulan Niyazbekov said during a meeting with reporters.

He noted that more than 3.5 thousand police officers go out to public places and crowded areas every day and work in 1,200 areas, preventing violations of public order and gross violations.

"As a result, the number of crimes in public places decreased by 16%. 1 thousand 368 crimes were recorded in the same period of 2021, and in the current - 1 thousand 147," the minister said.
