Number of documents considered and approved at EIGC meeting in Nur-Sultan

Bishkek, Feb. 25, 2022 . / Kabar /. A number of documents were considered and approved at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC), held in the city of Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan).

Among them:

- Instruction as part of the issue "On the Implementation of the Agreement on the Application in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) of Navigation Seals for Tracking Transportation;

- Instruction as part of the issue "On the establishment of import customs duty rates of EAEU Common Customs Tariff in respect of certain types of motor vehicles with electric motors and on making changes to the list of goods in respect of which Kazakhstan in accordance with the obligations assumed as a condition of application to the World Trade Organization, import customs duty rates apply lower in comparison with the rates of duties of EAEU;

- Instruction "On the Current Status and Prospects for the Development of EAEU Integrated Information System;

- Instruction "On the draft Protocol on Amendments to EAEU Treaty of May 29, 2014 in terms of the procedure for levying indirect taxes on electronic commerce in goods sold to individuals;

- Instruction "On the Joint Project of EAEU member states to implement accelerated containerized railway transportation of agricultural products "Eurasian AgroExpress";

- Instruction within the framework of the issue "On amendments to Some Decisions of the Customs Union Commission in respect of certain types of vehicles (business aviation aircraft, watercraft);

- Instruction within the framework of the issue "On participation of Uzbekistan in certain initiatives of the Eurasian Economic Union";

- Instruction "On the macroeconomic situation in EAEU member states and proposals to ensure sustainable economic development;

- Instruction "On the action plan (road map) to expand industrial cooperation in the field of civil aircraft construction in EAEU member states for 2022 - 2023;

- Instruction "On presentation to the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council of a candidate for membership in the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission";

- Instruction "On venue and place of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting.

The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held on June 21-22, 2022 in the city of Brest (Republic of Belarus).
