Baku, Oct. 15, 2019 / Kabar /. A number of documents were signed following the 7th meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Baku (Azerbaijan).
Thus, the heads of the member states of the Turkic Council have signed the following documents:
1. The decision on the creation of the Coordinating Committee of Cooperation Bodies of Turkic-speaking States;
2. The decision to confer the status of “Lifetime Honorary Chairman of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States” to First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev;
3. Decision on the highest order of the Turkic world;
4. Decision on awarding the highest order of the Turkic world to First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev;
5. Decision on the appointment of Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council and the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.
A joint statement was also adopted on Uzbekistan’s admission to the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states and an Agreement was signed between the CCTS Secretariat and the Government of Hungary regarding the representation of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states in Hungary.
