Bishkek, March 2, 2021 / Kabar /. As part of the state visit of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to Kazakhstan, a number of documents were signed aimed at further deepening Kyrgyz-Kazakh bilateral cooperation, the Kyrgyz president’s press service said.
The following documents were also signed:
- Agreement between the Government of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Kazakhstan on the provision of gratuitous military-technical assistance;
- Agreement between the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the development of national sports and folk games;
- Action plan for cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021;
- Plan of joint activities of the State Inspectorate for Environmental and Technical Safety of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021–2022;
- Program of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021–2022;
- Memorandum of Understanding between the State Service for Digital Development under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Protocol of the Minister of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Minister of Energy, Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the exchange of electricity.
In addition, Sadyr Zhaparov and Kazakh President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev adopted a Joint Statement.
