Bishkek, July 28, 2022. /Kabar/. This year, the number of foster families increased by 32%, the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan said Thursday.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been more than 105 thousand door-to-door surveys, during which identified children without parental care were taken under control.
In addition, about 3 thousand children in need of assistance were identified.
"More than 85% were assisted to overcome a difficult life situation, the rest of the work continues. The number of children removed from a difficult situation is one-third more than in the first half of last year,” the report said.
In addition, this year the number of foster families has been increased by more than 32%, thanks to which 25% more children are now brought up in families.
