Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2023 . / Kabar / . According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan, the total number of officially unemployed people in the first nine months of this year decreased by 6.2% compared to the same period in 2022.
The overall unemployment rate in the country decreased by 0.4%. The lowest unemployment rate remains in Bishkek and Chui Oblast, the highest - in Batken and Jalal-Abad Oblasts.
Since the beginning of the year, 119.6 thousand people have applied to the employment services, almost 70% received advice on labor and employment legislation, opportunities for vocational training and retraining, and choice of profession.
