Number of schools in Kyrgyzstan increases by 37 since October 2021

Bishkek, Oct. 18, 2022. /Kabar/. Since October last year, the number of schools in Kyrgyzstan has increased by 37 - from 2296 to 2333, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the country Nadira Dzhusupbekova told during a press conference at Kabar News Agency.

She said that the demographic number of schoolchildren has grown by almost 50 thousand children and amounts to 1 million 407 thousand.

“From the 2022-2023 academic year, the admission of school-age children to state and municipal educational organizations throughout the republic is carried out through the automated information system “Electronic Enrollment in School,” Dzhusupbekova said.
