Number of unemployed amounted to 102.6 thousand people in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, April 27, 2021. / Kabar /. The number of unemployed people in Kyrgyzstan registered with the state employment service in search of work amounted to 102.6 thousand people as of April 1, 2021. This is reported in the data of the National Statistics Committee with reference to the Ministry of Social Development.

These data are 5.3 percent more compared to the same data in 2020, and the number of registered unemployed is more for 79.1 thousand people or 1.4%.

Of the total number of registered unemployed, 46.3 percent were women. The registered unemployment rate was 3.1 percent of the economically active population.
