Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2023 /Kabar/. The number of unemployed has decreased in Kyrgyzstan, according to the publication of the National Statistical Committee.
The document says that, according to the Ministry of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic, the number of unemployed people registered with the state employment service in search of work as of January 1, 2023 amounted to 98.8 thousand people, which is 0.6% less compared to the same date in 2022, of which 74.7 thousand people are registered unemployed, or 1.7% less.
Of the total number of registered unemployed, 44.3% were women.
The registered unemployment rate in the total labor force was 2.8%.
