Number of Uzbekistan’s COVID-19 cases exceeds 45,000

Tashkent, Sept. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. Uzbekistan added Thursday another 603 cases of novel coronavirus.

According to the press service of the Uzbek Health Ministry, the country’s total number of infections has climbed to 45 thousand 160.

Over the past 24 hours, 314 more COVID-19 patients have recovered, and 6 more died.

The country sees increase in number of new cases. Specialists attribute this to the easing of quarantine requirements from Sept. 4.

Over the past period, 42,212 (93%) Uzbekistanis have cured of coronavirus, and 368 have died.

Treatment is provided to 2,580 people, of which 427 have a severe condition and 224 - critical.
