Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2021 . / Kabar / . Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus and a MAN truck collided on Tuesday at the 168th km of the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart road (Kuvaky Pass).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported that the crash occurred in Ton region of Issyk-Kul Oblast.
Earlier, it was reported that five people died on the spot and ten people were injured as a result of the accident.
The dead were taken to the morgue and three injured people were hospitalized.
15 people were taken to Kochkor Regional Hospital, of whom 2 people (1 infant and a 74-year-old man) were killed.
A total of 23 people were involved in the accident, 7 of whom died.
The names of those injured and the dead are being specified.
