Number of voters abroad increased 2.5 times: Kyrgyz MFA

Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2021 . / Kabar / . A total of 59 polling stations have been established in 29 foreign countries, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Azizbek Madmarov said during a briefing on Sunday.

He added that 10 of them were organized for the first time, namely in Khabarovsk, Krasnodar, Tomsk, Kazan, Samara (Russia), Antalya (Turkey), New York and Chicago (USA), and Cagliari (Italy).

"Recently, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan was opened in Budapest, and a polling station was opened there as well. In these elections, the number of voters abroad increased 2.5 times," the deputy minister informed.
