Bishkek, Nov. 20, 2018. / Kabar /. Employees of the Kara-Buura State Natural Park under the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry removed the previously installed camera traps.
Photo traps were installed on the territory of the Kara-Buura State Natural Park. From the photos one can see that practically all wild animals live in the territory.
The ongoing active work of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry on biodiversity and ecosystems aimed at preserving the population of wild animals, including the snow leopard, are bearing fruit. It used to be a great hindrance to detect wild animals and the snow leopard.
The staff of the Kara-Buura natural park installed 4 more camera traps in the park.
The Kara-Buura Natural Park is located on the northern slope of the Talas Range. The highest point of the territory is Manas peak (4484 m), the area is 61544 ha.
The Kara-Buura Natural Park from the north is bordered by Chatkal region, and from the west by the Aksu-Dzhabaglinsky reserve in Kazakhstan, north-west by the Piskeme park of Uzbekistan.
