Bishkek, Nov. 17, 2024. /Kabar/. From a technical point of view, the organization of elections in Kyrgyzstan is at the highest level, member of the Central Election Commission of Russia, international observer Anton Lopatin told reporters.
He noted that at the invitation of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan, he is monitoring the elections to local councils of the country.
"We visited about 10 polling stations in Bishkek and the Chui region and were pleasantly surprised by the high technical equipment of each polling station and the professional training of the members of the election commissions, who deeply and seriously understand the legislation," Lopatin said.
Lopatin also met with chairperson of the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurzhan Shaildabekova and noted that during the monitoring of the elections by international observers, no violations were recorded in the elections to local councils.
According to him, this is facilitated by the new equipment used at polling stations, which minimizes the human factor.
In turn, Shaildabekova noted that the experience of organizing remote voting in Kyrgyzstan was adopted, among other things, from the practice of holding elections in Russia.
She expressed the opinion on the need to continue the exchange of experience and practices between the countries.
"We have common main goals - to create maximum conditions for ensuring the electoral rights of citizens," Shaildabekova said.
