Bishkek, Jan. 25, 2019. /Kabar/. Of the total number of foreigners who arrived in Kyrgyzstan, Chinese citizens make up only 1%, Chairman of the State Migration Service Bolotbek Ibraimjanov stated during a government meeting.

He said that for 2017 and 2018, the largest number of foreign citizens who arrived in Kyrgyzstan are citizens of Kazakhstan – 47% (arrived – 5 million 469 thousand 367 people, left – 5 million 424 thousand 445 people), Uzbekistan – 35 % (arrived – 4 million 84 thousand 869 people, left – 3 million 945 thousand 790 people), Russia – 9% (1 million 100 thousand 232 people, left – 991 thousand 54 people), China – 1% (77 thousand 332 – 77 thousand 1 people).
