Official visit of Kyrgyz Parliament speaker to Azerbaijan kicks off

Bishkek, June 4, 2024. /Kabar/. The official visit of Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev to Azerbaijan has begun.

According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, the speaker first paid tribute to the memory of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev by laying a wreath at his grave.

After that, he laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame on the Alley of Martyrs, where the heroes of the Azerbaijani people who died for the freedom, independence and territorial integrity of the country are buried.

The official visit will continue with high-level meetings, at which it is planned to discuss current issues of bilateral cooperation, including inter-parliamentary interaction.
