Bishkek, Nov. 26, 2024. /Kabar/. The official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov to the Republic of Austria, which took place on November 24-25, is over.
As part of the visit, on November 25, an official meeting ceremony was held in Vienna between President Sadyr Zhaparov and Federal President of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen.
After the ceremony, the leaders of the two countries held talks in narrow and expanded formats, discussing a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its further development. Particular attention was paid to economic cooperation, and areas for deepening the partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Austria were outlined.
On the same day, Sadyr Zhaparov met with Federal Chancellor of Austria Karl Nehammer. During the conversation, issues of strengthening political dialogue, cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as the implementation of joint projects were discussed.
Concluding the official visit, President Sadyr Zhaparov held a meeting with Chairman of the National Council of the Republic of Austria Walter Rosenkranz. During the talks, the sides exchanged views on current issues of mutual interest, with a special emphasis on the development of inter-parliamentary relations.
