Bishkek, July 10, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov today, July 10 is in the Swiss Confederation for one-day official visit.
The visit has started with the official meeting of Sooronbay Jeenbekov with Swiss President Ueli Maurer at the Lon Manor residence in Bern city, the press service of the Kyrgyz President reported.
The state flags of Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland were hung in the residence, and a Guard of honor was lined up.
National anthems of the two countries were played. Jeenbekov and Maurer bypassed the Guard of honor and introduced delegation members to each other.
Then the Presidents went to private negotiations, after which the meeting will continue in the extended format.
In the framework of the official visit, Jeenbekov will meet with Chairwoman of the National Council of the Federal Assembly Marina Carobbio Guscetti and Chairman of the National Bank Thomas Jordan.
The Kyrgyz leader will also meet with representatives of big business in Switzerland with the participation of entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan.
