Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2019. /Kabar/. Within the framework of the conference “National Dialogue on Regional Development”, a presentation of the Kyrgyzstan digital transformation program was held. The head of the digitalization expert group Dastan Dogoev told representatives of local governments from all regions of the republic about the topic.

He began his presentation by deciphering the basic terms, enumerating the necessary resources, telling about world practice in digital transformation, as well as the prospects that are contained in this process.

“The concept of Kyrgyzstan has three foundations. The first is to improve the quality of service by moving to digital public services. The second is to convert the regulatory framework into electronic format. The third basis is the development of institutions in the use of information and communication technologies,” Dogoev said.

As an example of a program implemented in Kyrgyzstan, he told the participants about the advantages of the Tunduk interdepartmental interaction system, which provides fast communication between government agencies and, thus, reduces the information processing, as well as provision of public services.

He further elaborated on projects that are aimed at digitizing regions.
