Oil products worth of 11.3 billion soms produced in Kyrgyzstan since early 2018

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2018. /Kabar/. The growth trend in the output of processed oil continues in the industrial sector of Kyrgyzstan, specialists of the National Statistical Committee told on Wednesday at a press conference.

They told that oil products worth of 11 billion 342 million 648 thousand soms were produced in the country within nine months of this year.

Thus, in the eight months of this year, the growth rate was 34.9%, and in nine months - 28.7%. In total, there are currently four enterprises in this country engaged in this type of production: Kyrgyz Petroleum CJSC, oil refineries in Jalal-Abad, Kemin and Kara-Balta.

In addition, as the department indicated, in the manufacturing sector, growth in indicators was achieved in the textile sector by 28.4%, clothing production by 21.2%, rubber and plastic products, as well as other non-metallic mineral products by 15.8%.

In the total volume of gross domestic product (GDP), the share of industry amounted to about 167.9 billion soms out of 368.3 billion soms.
