Bishkek, June 24, 2021. / Kabar /. Oil refineries are idle in Kyrgyzstan, Sagyn Mamatomorov, head of the Department of Regulated Spheres of the State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation of the Kyrgyz Republic, told at a press conference at Kabar Agency.
He said that there is a Dzhunda plant and a Tokmok oil refinery in Kyrgyzstan.
“Dzhunda can produce 800 thousand tons of fuels and lubricants, and the Tokmok plant - 400 thousand tons. Together they could cover the need in our country. But there are internal problems. Oil supplies have been reduced to 50 thousand tons. If you remember, we used to supply up to 200 or 300 thousand tons of crude oil,” he informed.
