Bishkek, Mar.13, 2020. /Kabar/. The Oil Traders Association of Kyrgyzstan is ready to provide fuel and lubricants to farmers during the spring fieldwork, the Association’s press service said on Friday.
Oil traders continue to provide the republic with the necessary volumes of fuel and lubricants.
"According to preliminary data, during January-February 2020, a total of 214.7 thousand tons of petroleum products were imported into the country, including gasoline - 106.8 thousand tons, diesel fuel - 107.8 thousand tons, which amounted to 126% of last year's level, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) - 9.8 thousand tons," the report says.
In addition, according to the forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation, the demand for fuel and lubricants in 2020 will amount to 115.7 thousand tons, including 90.6 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 25.1 thousand tons of gasoline.
"Oil traders express their readiness to fulfill in time and in full their obligations to provide the agrarians of the republic with the necessary amount of oil products. A number of companies traditionally support farmers and peasants by providing discounts of KGS 0.4 / liter in the wholesale of petroleum products," the statement runs.
