Oldest applicant in history of Kyrgyzstan’s republican testing for graduates was 74 y/o

In the history of nationwide testing, the oldest applicant was 74 years old, Bakyt Rysbekov, chief specialist of the Department of School, Out-of-School and Additional Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan told during a press conference at Kabar Agency.

He said that the applicant was a grandmother, who is currently studying at Kyrgyz State University named after Arabaev.

“Also, among the applicants, a 57 year old woman was registered, who is currently studying at the medical faculty of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University. I would like to note that several elderly students study at the university,” he added.

In conclusion, Rysbekov pointed out that there are no age restrictions for admission and passing the nationwide testing.

“The only thing is that the applicant must have a certificate of secondary education in his hands,” Rysbekov explained.
