Bishkek, Oct. 5, 2018. /Kabar/. Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Oleg Pankratov met with Head of the Komi Republic of the Russian Federation, Sergei Gaplikov, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
At the meeting, the sides discussed promising areas of cooperation in the spheres of attracting investment, trade, industry, agriculture, tourism, information and communication technologies, the digital economy, etc.
Pankratov noted that the conclusion of a draft Agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and Komi on trade, economic and socio-cultural cooperation, currently being worked out, will give a positive impetus to the development of cooperation between the two states.
The Russian side expressed interest in creating a joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which will serve as a platform for the development of trade and economic relations between the states.
