Bishkek, Aug. 5, 2024 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstani Munarbek Seyitbek uulu reached the semifinals, securing a medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.
He performed Aug.4 in the boxing tournament in the weight category up to 57 kg, where he started with a 1/4 finals bout.
The opponent of the Kyrgyzstani was the world champion of 2021 and champion of the Pan American Games 2023 Jamal Harvey from the USA.
At the end of three rounds of 3 minutes, the judges gave the victory to the Kyrgyz boxer by split decision.
Munarbek Seyitbek uulu reached the semifinals and secured a medal.
His opponent in the 1/2 finals will be Javier Ibanez Diaz from Cuba.
Semifinal fights will be held on Aug. 8.
