Omar Sultanov presents his credentials to director general of UN Office in Geneva

Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2022 / Kabar /. A ceremony presentation of credentials by Permanent Representative of Kyrgyzstan to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva Omar Sultanov to Director General of the UN Office in Geneva Tatyana Valovaya was held at the headquarters of the United Nations Office (UN) in Geneva, Switzerland.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan said that during the ceremony, Sultanov stressed that Kyrgyzstan highly appreciates the activities of the UN and attaches great importance to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with the UN, based on the principles of partnership and dialogue. He also highlighted Kyrgyzstan's priorities for promoting sustainable mountain development.

Valovaya congratulated Sultanov on his arrival in Geneva and wished him success in his activities, assuring that the UN would continue its comprehensive cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
