Bishkek, Oct. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz deputies accepted the resignation of Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan Tokon Mamytov.
At the meeting on Wednesday, 68 MPs voted "for" and the resignation was accepted.
Mamytov decided to resign due to participation in the elections to the Jogorku Kenesh on Nov. 28.
Tokon Mamytov, 68, was appointed ombudsman in September 2018. From 2010-2013, he was a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh and later headed the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.
