Tourism in Kyrgyzstan can offer activities for every foreign guest at the most affordable prices, from a thrill seeker to cultural events, Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynai Omurbekova told at the youth forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
She said that according to the action plan for implementation of the provisions of the joint appeal of the heads of the SCO member states to young people, one of the priority areas is the development of youth tourism.
“The specifics of youth tourism, in the first place, lies in its economy: young people are ready to save on everything, starting from transport and ending with accomodation and the level of comfort,” the vice prime minister shared her opinion. “All that young people are interested in is new impressions, acquaintances, obtaining new knowledge and new experiences. Therefore, tourist products that are offered should be relatively inexpensive, but at the same time imbued with the spirit of opportunism and adventure.”
The event is taking place within the framework of the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the SCO.
