One candidate drops out of Kyrgyzstan’s presidential race, 17 remain

Bishkek, Dec. 30, 2020. /Kabar/. Candidate Rashid Tagaev appealed on Wednesday to the Central Elections Commission of Kyrgyzstan to withdraw his documents for participation in the presidential elections, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of the CEC.

Thus, a total of 17 candidates continue racing in the presidential elections:

1. Babyrzhan Tolbaev;
2. Sadyr Zhaparov;
3. Aimen Kasenov;
4. Arstanbek Abdyldaev;
5. Ravshan Dzheenbekov;
6. Kursan Asanov;
7. Eldar Abakirov;
8. Adakhan Madumarov;
9. Abdil Segizbaev;
10. Zhenishbek Baiguttiev;
11. Arstanbek Myktybek;
12. Klara Sooronkulova;
13. Baktybek Kalmamatov;
14. Kanybek Imanaliev;
15. Imamidin Tashov;
16. Kanatbek Isaev;
17. Ulukbek Kochkorov.

Kyrgyzstan’s early presidential elections are scheduled for Jan. 10, 2021. The referendum on the form of government will take place the same day.
