Bishkek, Oct. 3, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, one patient died from COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the past day, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said Saturday.
It is specified that the fatality was registered in Issyk-Kul Oblast of the country.
A total of 1,066 Kyrgyzstanis have died from novel coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.
The republic has reported 47,184 cases so far, including 43,278 recoveries.
Kyrgyzstan recorded its first COVID-19 case on March 18 and the first death from the virus on Apr. 2.
