Yerevan, Oct.1, 2019. /Kabar/. “One of the priority areas of activity is to further develop the positive image of the Union in international arena,” President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov said at the extended format meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, held in Yerevan.
The Kyrgyz leader said today the meeting was attended by President of Iran and Prime Minister of Singapore. “Our Union has shown that it is always open for mutually beneficial cooperation with external partners in order to develop the idea of a large Eurasian partnership,” Jeenbekov said.
President Jeenbekov noted last week the Eurasian Week forum was successfully held in Bishkek, which strengthened its authority and became a recognized platform for open dialogue.
“Today, the Eurasian Week is being transformed into the Eurasian Economic Forum. We are raising its status to an entirely new level. This platform will allow attracting companies from third countries as potential consumers and investors,” he said.
The Kyrgyz President also emphasized the importance of continuing the work on further deepening the integration and coverage of new areas of cooperation.
