Bishkek, Mar.16, 2020. /kabar/. One of the remote villages in Naryn Oblast has access to the World Wide Web, the press service of the Kyrgyz Telecom.
Kyrgyzstan's Naryn Oblast is one of the country's highest mountainous regions with a low population density. Due to its geographical characteristics, the construction of fiber-optic communication lines is difficult.
Thus, in five regions of Naryn Oblast, 24 villages already have access to the network.
In addition, work is being done on additional connection of settlements along the route of communication lines.
There are 21 Internet subscribers in Aral village of Jumgal region of Naryn Oblast, as well as a school, health centers and Aral transport and control point are connected.
Kyrgyz Telecom OJSC is a single operator of universal communication services in the territory of the country, and is implementing a project to eliminate digital inequality and ensure equal opportunities for all residents of the republic's regions.
