One of schools in Bishkek closed for quarantine

Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2021 / Kabar /. School No. 70 in Bishkek is closed for quarantined for 2 weeks, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor's Office told Kabar Agency.

The school was closed because two pupils and two teachers were diagnosed with COVID-19. This is the first time in Bishkek since the pandemic that a working school has been quarantined due to the coronavirus.

Since the first COVID-19 case was reported in Kyrgyzstan on March 18, the country's authorities have taken precautionary measures against the pandemic by closing the country's borders, shutting down schools and entertainment centers, banning public gatherings, and imposing a curfew for one month and a half.

Educational facilities of Kyrgyzstan has resumed to study in the traditional mode from Feb. 1.
