Bishkek, June 9, 2020. /Kabar/. An epidemic investigation is taking place in Talas Oblast, the press service of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry reported.
Earlier, news appeared in media that an employee of one of the clinics in the oblast had a suspicion of a coronavirus, which led to the closure of medical facility for quarantine.
"There is a person with suspicion. So far, analysis is in progress. If it is confirmed, details will be announced,” the report says.
Until today, Talas Oblast remained only Kyrgyzstan’s region with no one confirmed COVID-19 case.
The republic registered on Tuesday 23 new cases of novel coronavirus, raising the total to 2,055.
403 of these cases are registered among medical workers, 1,483 people have cured and been discharged from hospitals, including 293 medics.
24 people have passed away.
