Bishkek, Jan.22, 2020./Kabar/. Now art lovers can get acquainted with the rich collection of the Gapar Aitiyev Museum of Fine Arts without leaving home.
artmuseum.kg site under the new domain was created for this purpose.
According to the Museum’s data, this is the first online gallery in the country, which will present more than 4 thousand paintings and 1 thousand sculptures from the funds of the Museum.
"The new website is multifunctional and includes sections reflecting the museum's activities in various directions (exhibitions, master classes, lectures, round tables and presentations). The design is in line with current trends. The logical structure is easy to perceive, with the ability to search for specific works by author and genre," the report says.
The project was launched with technical support from Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan. Since November 2018, museum staff have been working on filling the site.
