Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2020. /Kabar/. In Chui Oblast, the number of people infected with coronavirus has reached 3 thousand 85 citizens, First Deputy Governor of the oblast Elkinbek Ashirbayev said a briefing.
According to his data, COVID-19 has been detected in one person in the last 24 hours. During the whole period 48 people have died from the virus.
Ashirbayev informed that 244 daytime inpatient centers for 2 thousand 742 beds have been organized.
"Today the number of patients has decreased, and only 2 COVID-19 hospitals are functioning. There, patients who do not require hospitalization have the opportunity to get IVs and injections," the deputy governor said.
According to the press service of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, at the early days of the hospital’s work the number of patients made 7 thousand, today the average is 30. In this regard, many of them are temporarily closed down.
Since the opening of daytime hospitals, a total of 121 thousand 777 citizens have applied.
