Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2019. /Kabar/. An open tourist multidiscipline championship of the city of Bishkek on artificial surface was held on the basis of the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports last weekend, the press service of Mayor's Office reported.
According to their information, the open championship is held with the aim of developing and improving methods for overcoming natural obstacles in mountain hikes, sharing experience in techniques and tactics for overcoming natural obstacles between tourist clubs.
According to the results of the competition, the New Way tourist clubs became the winners in the team competition, the second place was taken by the Nadezhda tourist clubs, and the third place was won by the Skif mountaineers club.
Among participants in the individual competition were beginners and athletes who completed a 3-4-year training in tour sections.
In total, 45 athletes from 6 teams took part in the competition.
