Bishkek, Nov. 30, 2017. /Kabar/. Opening ceremony of Qatar branch charity took place in Bishkek on Nov.27. It is the largest charitable organizations in the Persian Gulf, the Kyrgyz Ministry of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) press service reported.
This organization was founded in 1992. Since its opening the organization has concluded about 100 agreements with various international organizations and UN agencies such as FAO, UNICEF, UNDP, WHO and others.
Since 2013 to present day Qatar charity has built 9 health-obstetric centers across our country. They were equipped with the necessary equipment and provided various assistance to orphans.
The opening ceremony of the branch was attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Development (MLSD) of the Kyrgyz Republic Taalaygul Isakunova. Mrs. Isakunov signed a protocol of cooperation with Mr. Faisal Al-Fayhayd who represented the organization. The sides discussed the prospects for joint projects.
Mrs. Isakunova pointed out that most vulnerable group of the population is considered to be the target group of MLSD. In the framework of the national program "Forty Steps to New Era”, MLSD is developing a strategy of policy for upcoming years in the field of labor and social protection of children left without parental care, people with disabilities, unemployed, and for those who are in difficult life situation.
Mr. Faisal Al-Fayhayd expressed the readiness of the organization to support the implementation of MLSD’s strategic document.
The opening ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Health, Talantbek Batyraliev, the deputies of the Parliament Torobay Zulpukarov, Almazbek Baatyrbekov and others.
