Opening of honorary consulate of Kyrgyzstan in Czech Republic took place in Prague

Bishkek, May 7, 2024. /Kabar/. The official opening of the honorary consulate of Kyrgyzstan in the Czech Republic took place in Prague on May 3.

At the invitation of the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Czech Republic Saadatkan Daminova, the event was attended by Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh K. Samakov, Vice Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament J. Bartoshek, official representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, government bodies of the Czech Republic, ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Turkiye and Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic, as well as compatriots living in this country.

During the reception, welcoming speeches were made by Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Czech Republic with residence in Vienna T. Makeev, Honorary Consul S. Daminova, Deputy Director of the Department of Asia and the Pacific of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs Patrick Rumlar, who informed the participants of the event about the main achievements of the Kyrgyz- Czech cooperation during the establishment of diplomatic relations, agreements reached and joint activities of the parties to further deepen bilateral relations, as well as the role of the honorary consulate in this context.

The Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Czech Republic prepared musical performance from works of folklore music, excerpts from the Manas epic for the guests, showed videos about the natural beauty and tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, and also offered a variety of dishes of Kyrgyz national cuisine.
