Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2021 . / Kabar / . Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting took place as part of Kazakbaev’s visit to Brussels.
Ruslan Kazakbaev invited his interlocutor to participate in the upcoming First EU-Central Asia Economic Forum to be held on Nov. 5, 2021 in Bishkek.
"The sides also discussed the possibility of a separate side-event by the World Customs Organization within the forum," the report said.
In addition, special attention was paid to the activities of the regional training center of the World Customs Organization, which makes a significant contribution to improving the professional skills of customs officers of the region.
Kazakbaev and Mikuriya also considered an opening of the Center of professional and canine training in Bishkek, which will give customs cynologists of the region additional opportunities to improve their skills and abilities.
