Tashkent, Oct. 3, 2017 / Kabar /. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan headed by director of the tourism department at the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic Azamat Zhamankulov takes part in the 23rd Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road".
Zhamankulov said that, the international fair "Tourism on the Silk Road" is a long-awaited event for all representatives of the tourist industry of the Central Asian region. "Thousands of professionals from Uzbekistan and the whole region are united on the same platform to promote the tourist product and establish business contacts. The fair allows participants to exchange experiences, discuss current tourism issues, introduce new opportunities, and participate in scientific programs held in the framework of the fair," he said.
Representatives of more than 10 tourism companies of Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of ethnic Kyrgyz from the Andijan region take part in the fair.
A broad representation of the tourist potential of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people will be held at the fair.
This year more than 50 representatives of travel companies from 28 countries of the world participate in the fair.
The event will last until October 5.
