Bishkek, March 17, 2021 . / Kabar /. Representatives of the Skills Development Fund (SDF) met with Program Coordinator of the of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in Kyrgyzstan Osman Usta.
The meeting took place in the TIKA Office in Bishkek on the initiative of SDF and was devoted to the bilateral cooperation for the future.
During the meeting, the sides noted that there are opportunities for cooperation under TIKA programs in 2021 to form and train training groups on short-term courses in Bishkek and all regions of the country in 78 educational institutions and 110 professions. There are prospects for opening joint training classes to train those willing in the IT field.
It was also announced that a separate priority for SDF is the organization of training courses for socially vulnerable groups (large families, low-income families, children of migrants), people with disabilities, as well as the unemployed, underemployed population and migrant workers.
It was decided to consider signing a Memorandum of Cooperation and Understanding between TIKA and SDF, which in turn would help develop relations between countries and organizations in promoting education and employment of Kyrgyz citizens.
For its part, TIKA supported initiatives and proposals from the Skills Development Fund, and it was agreed to work out and detail these and other issues for their joint implementation in the future.
Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency under the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey (TIKA) was established in 1992, after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Eastern European Socialist Block, with the aim of providing technical assistance to developing countries and developing relations with them in the fields of economy, trade, technology, culture, education and social development with the help of projects and programs of TIKA.
